Like many, I really love Spring and Fall - when its not too hot, not too cold but juuuust right.

Putting together looks for this season is pretty interesting; preparation for the summer means a mix of summer + winter clothes, which can be a lot of fun to play around with.

Denim on Denim

This is a very easy way to look good and keep warm. Here, Vanessa wears a long-sleeved denim shirt and ripped jeans all in a similar blue. The best way to get this right is to pick similar colored or spot on, exact same denim that work well together. Also, I personally love this blue because it's easy on the eye, soft and fun.

High heeled ankle boots with this look works perfectly, making this more of a classic go to. I prefer the pointy-toe boots; they tend to add some elegance to a look, and confidence in stride.

If you decide to accessorize, minimal works, but so does big and chunky - it's a simple look that works with everything tbh.

Sweater on Denim

Pair a short denim skirt (don't forget your stockings) with an oversized turtleneck sweater for comfort and style.

I've realized that most people wear this look with thigh high boots, but I prefer it with basic oxfords to 'show off' the legs. To keep a little warm though, I'm wearing semi-transparent stockings and a pair of thick socks. Also, a long trench helps (see below)

When it comes to my color palette, I go for a lot of neutrals (with a pop of color) in the winter and a lot more color in the summer. So my color palette for spring is basically a combination of my browns, greys, blacks and whites with my pinks and oranges, greens and blues.
