BROWNS! BROWNS! BROWNS!
I remember walking past store windows on Madison Avenue with Nana (who went with me on my market research assignment at Ralph Lauren) sometime in September. Seeing all the brown jackets, blazers, dresses, jumpsuits and accessories on display, we were inspired and in love. We knew we'd consciously or unconsciously end up incorporating the color in our looks this Fall.
Brown is a major fall color, always has been. It's so aesthetically pleasing when styled in the many beautiful shades it comes in.
I love this blazer that was gifted me earlier this year (talk about timely gifts)!
Decided to wear it over my mini white skirt and a white crop that I got three years ago back home I believe; shoes I thrifted in Connecticut last year and my daily go to sunnies from American Eagle.
The thing about fall in New York is it's the period when the mornings are coat weather, and the afternoons are T-shirt and shorts weather. So it's only wise to dress accordingly.
The beautiful Nana, wore a short sleeve turtleneck with the cutest animal print skirt (I love her style), completing the look with a fedora open toe sandals and the perfect purse to match EVERY look!
I honestly don't have as many browns in my closet as I'd want to rock this Fall, but that's what I love about styling - creating different looks with what I have available to me - It's definitely a favorite for me this season!
Again, Thank you for reading!
Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did putting the looks together.
Looking forward to sharing my #fallfaves with you!
