Visiting DC with the best friends + tour guides made it a 10/10 trip tbh. Learned so much AND had a fab time.

One of the major highlights of this trip was visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture (during BHM). There was SO MUCH information in there and is definitely better appreciated with multiple visits. So I know we will be going back.

January 128th is finally here!

What an interesting month it’s been!
Being intentional everyday has been a necessity.

I’ve been making space for what’s most important to me tbh. Talking to my favourite people more, enjoying celebrating others, going where I’m celebrated and stepping back where I’ve seen the need to. But most importantly I’m praying about EVERYTHING.

Let me tell you something about vacations…
Spending time with yourself/loved ones in a new environment is really incredible. @tyr.designs and I went to Mexico a month ago in celebration of my birthday and it was one of the best experiences we’ve shared together.

I think for me it was the keke’ing, daily planning and vibing with the loml learning and experiencing new things in a completely different environment that got me.

Food was 10/10, service was top tier, the water was gorgeous, activities were fun and the people were lovely!

Can’t wait to make more memories!!!

This was my first time in Ghana since COVID.
It was such an emotional rollercoaster! Time spent with family, celebrating love and life, seeing friends, experiencing Ghana again…it was a true blessing!

Visiting home has always been a source of grounding; a reminder to me of the magnitude of my community and culture, It’s so comforting to know that no matter what happens in my life, I can always go home. Bless God Sha!
