Connecticut Edition
This Christmas was my first away from home (Ghana) and I initially thought I would spend it in New York so I could experience the different things tourists come in to see during this time. As the weeks passed however, I realized I would rather be with family than spend Christmas alone doing "tourist things" in New York. So I spent my Christmas in Connecticut with my twin/bestie Vanessa and her family and I'm so happy I did, to be honest.
There's something about spending time with people I love that makes me extra grateful. Grateful to have people I can share my experiences with, people I can laugh with, people I can be myself around - it's really an amazing thing.
